Missouri Non Traditional Teachers License What Are The Requirements To Get A Teaching Certificate In Missouri If I Already Have One In Arkansas?

What are the requirements to get a teaching certificate in Missouri if I already have one in Arkansas? - missouri non traditional teachers license

I am certified in early childhood (preschool-4) in Arkansas. My husband is well certified, but he has his license by an unconventional program in Arkansas. His degree is from Missouri, but it is a religion / philosophy.
Thanks for the info!

  1. It is best to the Missouri Department of Education:

    In particular, the early childhood:

    I hope that helps.

  3. In my opinion, Arkansas and Missouri, both are members of NASDTEC reciprocal arrangement between states in teachers. Check the NASDTEC Directory and Missouri Department of Education website for information on reciprocity. For teachers who are certified in the areas where the need for special consideration is often given.

Notes: While not the programs are recognized "traditional" in the State have been conducted in which it is generally recommended that more than two years experience in the licensing program in the state of education before moving to another state. This requirement is the rule at the national level, but consider, with each state to be absolutely sure of their individual needs.

Hope this helps ... Good luck to you both ... Good teachers are needed everywhere ...
